A to Z Challenge: C

C is for Cornwall

I'm very lucky to live in such a beautiful place, at one end of my village you have the picturesque harbour and the stoney - yet pretty - beach and at the other you can go off exploring the countryside. It's the best of both worlds and I absolutely love living here.

I've lived in Cornwall for almost twelve years now and it's honestly such a great place to live, it's a bit of a shame you get stampeded by holiday makers in Summer especially, but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the county. And it's been a brilliant place to grow up, I've always liked going on little adventures and when I was young the countryside offered all that my friends and I needed for a good exploration.

Whilst Cornwall provides no Mediterranean beaches, it's still got some charming views and the beaches we have to offer are lovely to relax on - you just have to brace yourself when going into the sea. My favourite beach by far is Sennen, on the West of Cornwall. I only started visiting this beach in the last two years thanks to my ex boyfriend and his family, and I'm sure I'll keep returning to it whilst I still live down in Cornwall.

And of course one of the best things about Cornwall, has to be their pasties!

Another day, another letter down!
