Here's to the Future

Day 2: Where you would like to be in ten years

I can't possibly imagine where I'll actually be in ten years time, I would say it's so far away but time seems to be flying by. As long as I don't wind up a crazy cat lady I think I'll be satisfied.

So all I know is, this is what I'd like to have and where I'd like to be in ten years time...

So, I want a dog. I can settle with being a crazy dog lady. Because dog's are THE best. I can't marry a man who doesn't want a dog, and/or can't be bullied into getting one. So yes, in ten years time I'd like to be with either my golden retriever, husky or pug having a good cuddle...to be honest, any friendly pooch will make me happy!

I'd also like a husband ten years down the line, if not sooner. If the dog comes first then it's like a baby and he'll be roped into the family. And can't run away from me and my precious pooch. Or if he does, proof he's not worth it! I've recently (as of last year) turned into one of those crazy wedding fanatics. I haven't been imagining my wedding since I was a little girl, just since I was 19, but weddings get me a bit too excited like one of those females you sigh at for being so darn female. I'd like to during said ten years, have the most perfect wedding, where both our families and all our friends come together for an amazing celebration. And yes, I may have pinned a few wedding related things...(yeah, I'm crazy).

I'd also like to be in a successful job. I can't quite tell you in what as of yet, but I hope before next year I'll have a clearer idea. I hope to go down the route of writing, perhaps a cheeky column in a magazine or newspaper. If not, I'd enjoy being a PA. This may sound a bit odd but I'm not someone who'd want to run my own business, but I wouldn't mind working for someone. Especially if it involved organising and such, I find it strangely fun.

I'd love to live on the outskirts of a city. I'm a country bumpkin at heart and always will be, but I understand that I'll most likely need to find work within a city. I want a lovely country house on the outside, that has some modern touches within. Preferably I'd love for my husband to have a good eye for interior design. If you saw the way I decorate my houses on The Sims you'd totally understand.

I'd like to be (of course) healthy and happy. Ten years is a long old time and I hope in the years to come I live my life to the fullest, and continue to do so past those ten years. I hope to be settled in with a husband, and never be facing the possibility of divorce. I hope to have children who are set up for a bright future, and who have great characters. I want them to do whatever makes them happy in life, and I hope I don't become, or marry, one of those parents that live their lives through their children.

That's not a lot to ask for, is it...?

Where would you like to be in ten years?
